A TIME FOR WOLVES!!! [Apr. 10th, 2006|05:53 pm]
Baine Wolfheart
I'm very anxious for George R.R. Martin's 5th and other forthcoming novels in his series of "A Song of Ice and fire". As I finished "A Feast for Crows" last month, was a very intense read. With a major shock of an ending that leaves you wanting more! The BEST fantasy series EVAH!!! To me even beats Tolkiens 'Lord of the Rings'. I mean you can't go wrong with him when his series of novels hit best sellers and hit the number one spot even before they are out for sale.

"Martin amply fulfills the first volumes promise and continues what seems destined to be one of the best fantasy series ever written"~ The Denver Post
His novels have become Collectable card games. Board games, Large Forums, created large amounts of fan art, figures, paintings..etc..

from one of Martins recent posts on Livejournal:

"Oh, and I've also come up with a new title for the seventh (and final, I hope, I hope, I hope) volume of the series -- A DREAM OF SPRING. I like the sound of that a lot better than A TIME FOR WOLVES, which has been my working title for book seven up to now, and I also think it gives a better sense of the book that I want to write. So -- A DANCE WITH DRAGONS, then THE WINDS OF WINTER, then A DREAM OF SPRING. Shouldn't take me long (hah)."

Damn I can't wait. As much as I loved the title for the final book "A TIME FOR WOLVES". "A Dream of Spring" most likely sums up what happens better. But his previous title gives a great indication of what his plans are for that final book! WOOT! GO STARKS!

I severly suggest if your looking for a fantasy to read. Go find A GAME OF THRONES and begin...

Funny quote

"We maintain that the very foundation of our way of life is what we call
free enterprise," said Cash McCall, "but when one of our citizens
show enough free enterprise to pile up a little of that profit, we do
our best to make him feel that he ought to be ashamed of himself."
